Hunting Jobs

Try out!

Four-steps of getting a job

Hunting a job needs much effort obviously but we can maximize the chances of getting a job by following this script. This script is going to be covering a tiny little part of getting a job.

Step-1 Understanding capability of yourself

You have got to question yourself
What am I capable of?
Everybody is capable of doing one or more things but here you need to determine what you are capable of because this will help find what type of job you need to hunt for.

Step-2 Finding the right job

The easiest way is the Internet. Searching for a job you are capable of is made easy on the Internet. Categorized jobs on the Internet makes easier to choose the jobs you are looking for.

Step-3 Approaching an employer or organization

Basically all you need is that you need to present yourself in a way that makes the employer understand your capability of doing the job. For this, the tools we can use are business cards and CV with covering letter. Make a business card with necessary details on it. It does not have to be stylish, just a standard card is enough. You can make it by yourself on your computer. Make it as a habit of giving business card to people you meet.

CV and covering letter are the things which are going to reflect who you are. These should be done very carefully. If you think you can’t do it that way ask help from others who can do this. Approaching an employer challenges job seekers. There are a lot of ways to approach. One of the good ways I suggest is that approaching by making calls. This is the way I found by discussing about employment with directors and hiring people. After getting details out of job advertisements now you are ready to make calls, ask for the person who is responsible for making employment decision in the organization, have a formal clean conversation, this conversation will last for less than a minute. Thinking positively, you will be asked to come in to face an interview.

Step -4 Repeat the steps until you get employed

Keep doing like this until get employed, make this job hunting process as a full time job, give it heaps, and make a checklist to see how many calls you make a day.
